Happy October! Last month I read five books: Harry Potter y la piedra filosofal by J.K. Rowling, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Shakespeare: The World as Stage by Bill Bryson, Don’t Sleep There Are Snakes: Life and Language in the Amazonian Jungle by Daniel L. Everett, and Winter World: The Ingenuity of Animal Survival by Bernd Heinrich. Overall I don’t really have much to say about September’s reading: I liked all of them but wished I had read more. This past week I haven’t been reading that much; I’m almost 100 pages in to Cold Comfort Farm by Stella Gibbons which I am enjoying, but other then that I haven’t read anything. I don’t know; I’m feeling a bit apathetic about reading lately, which I don’t like, but I’m hoping if I force myself to read more that feeling will disappear. I hate talking about forcing myself to read; I read because I enjoy it and I don’t want to make it a chore. But sometimes if I don’t feel like reading but I do anyway I rediscover its ‘joy,’ so to speak. Anyway, enough musings- onto the stats!

As for October I don’t really have any set plans. I want to finish Cold Comfort Farm, read The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins, and read some of the new books I bought last month but haven’t got around to reading yet! Anyway, what are your reading plans for October?
